Disable DFSS using the dedicated DFSS registry key rather than using the Turn off Fair Share CPU Scheduling Group Policy setting.
Caution!
This procedure requires you to edit the registry. Using Registry Editor
incorrectly can cause serious problems that might require you to
reinstall your operating system. Citrix cannot guarantee that problems
resulting from the incorrect use of the Registry Editor can be solved.
Use the Registry Editor at your own risk. Back up the registry before
you edit it.
- Under the Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Remote Desktop Services/Remote Desktop Session Host/Connections Group Policy node, set Turn off Fair Share CPU Scheduling to Not configured.
- Run regedit.exe.
- Locate the following registry key and set the EnableCpuQuota value to zero:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Quota System. - Reboot the server
You should disable Windows Server 2008 R2 DFSS. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Quota System EnableCPUQuota = 0
