How to Enable or Disable Hotkeys (XenApp)

Citrix XenApp Hotkeys oluşturma;

How to Enable Web Interface Hotkeys
The procedure below allows you to map the default ICA Client hotkeys within Web Interface. If any keys affect your application, alter them to reflect a key that does not conflict with your application. This process alleviates the need to alter each appsrv.ini file on the individual client workstation.
The Citrix Web Client, 6.x versions (985, 986, and 1050), does not have the code to read from the client installed Appsrv.ini or an .ICA file. Download and use the latest ICA client.
  1. Using a text editor such as Notepad, locate the Template.ica file, or if using Web Interface 4.x or later, the default.ica file being used for the Web Interface site.
  2. Copy the ICA parameters below into the Template.ica or default.ica file. Place this code after the [WFCLIENT] tag:
Hotkey1Char=F1
Hotkey1Shift=Shift
Hotkey2Char=F3
Hotkey2Shift=Shift
Hotkey3Char=F2
Hotkey3Shift=Shift
Hotkey4Char=F1
Hotkey4Shift=Ctrl
Hotkey5Char=F2
Hotkey5Shift=Ctrl
Hotkey6Char=F2
Hotkey6Shift=Alt
Hotkey7Char=plus
Hotkey7Shift=Alt
Hotkey8Char=minus
Hotkey8Shift=Alt
Hotkey9Char=F3
HotKey9Shift=Ctrl
Hotkey10Char=F5
HotKey10Shift=Ctrl
Hotkey11Char=plus
Hotkey11Shift=Ctrl
Hotkey12Char=plus
Hotkey12Shift=Ctrl
Hotkey13Char=plus
Hotkey13Shift=Ctrl

Note: Be sure to place all of the hotkey listings in the file.
Map the hotkeys needed and set the remaining values to “(none)”.
Notes:
    Example: A default installation of the 10.200 ICA Web Client allowed for Ctrl+F1 to work inside an ICA Notepad session that was accessed through Web Interface 4.6. Adding the above hotkeys to the default.ica with the Hotkey4Shift=Ctrl set to none or Shift would effectively disable the Ctrl+F1 hotkey sequence inside the ICA Notepad session. The application Notepad has no knowledge of the CTRL+F1 sequence. If it did, it should respond as the application would expect.
New Hot Key Mappings
The following hot key combinations were introduced in version 10.100 of the Presentation Server for Windows Client.
SHIFT + F2 - Full-Screen to Windowed
The SHIFT + F2 command allows switching an ICA session window from a Full Screen to a Windowed mode and back.

Usage: Inside the ICA session window press SHIFT + F2 on the keyboard and the ICA session switches to Windowed mode. Press SHIFT + F2 and the ICA session window switches back to Full Screen mode.
SHIFT + F11 – Minimize Full Screen ICA session window
The SHIFT + F11 hot key command allows minimizing full screen ICA session window. Note: This behavior has been reverted in versions 10.214, 10.223, 10.225, 10.230, 11.00 and later so that the default behavior when pressing Shift+F11 no longer minimizes the session; instead, the key sequence is passed to the session (for more info see CTX115230 Understanding the Shift+F11 Key Combination behavior in Versions 10.100 and later of the XenApp Windows Client.).

SHIFT + F12 – Restore Full Screen ICA session
The SHIFT + F12 hot key command restores the minimized or resized ICA session window to its assigned size.

How to Disable Web Interface Hotkeys
To disable hotkey usage for Web Interface connections, add the following entries (obtained from the full ICA Client version 10.200.2650) under the [WFCLIENT] section of the Template.ica or default.ica file:

How to Disable Hotkeys via the ICACLIENT.ADM Template
Import the ICACLIENT.ADM template that comes packaged with the client on the workstation. This can be done in a local machine policy or an Active Directory Domain policy. To import the policy on the client machine, follow the procedure below.
  1. Click Start > Run > gpedit.msc.
  2. Right click Administrative Templates and select Add/Remove templates.

  1. Navigate to the Citrix ICA Client installation directory (for example: C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICA Client\Configuration).

  1. Close the Add/Remove templates window and browse to the newly imported policy.

  1. Configure the Keyboard Shortcuts in the User experience section. In this case, the Shift+F3 is disabled so the native application functions work.

  1. Apply the policy and run gpudate /force on the client machine.
